Share Your Computer Only If Your Data Is Secured
What do you do when you don’t want others to see what you have inside your room? You simply lock it when you are not around. The same can be done on a computer if it is being used by more than one user. When I was completing my studies the institute had allotted one computer between four students. Each person working on a particular computer had a folder where he could save all his files. One day I was working on a project which had to be submitted the following week. I had collected data from the market after interviewing people of different age groups. I made an excel file where I had entered all the data which I had collected from the market. I didn’t want anyone to have a look at it so I wondered how do I password protect an excel file. I called up my brother and he told me how to lock my excel file. I was now assured that my project details won’t be leaked. So while others were worrying about securing their project details I was free of all such worries.
